Saarthee’s Big Day Out: A Story of Laughter, Games & Camaraderie

The journey began with a traveller van full of chatter, excitement, and the promise of a day away from the screen. Upon arrival at Botanix Nature Resort, the team was greeted like royalty—chandan tika, garlands, and warm smiles set the tone.

A filling breakfast powered the first round of team games. Then, the real fun kicked in

The Squid Game Challenge: Thrills, Tension & Team Spirit

Inspired by the popular series but designed to be all about fun, teamwork, and adrenaline, this multi-part challenge had everyone buzzing with excitement.

Tug of War: Two teams, one thick rope, and a whole lot of determination. The rules were simple—pull with all your might, but the strategy? That’s what separated the champs from the chumps. Cheers echoed as teams dug their heels in, grit on their faces, laughter in the air.

Dalgona Candy Challenge: Each participant received a crisp, fragile candy disk with a shape in the center. Armed with just a toothpick and trembling hands, they had to carve out the shape without breaking it. The tension? Palpable. The crowd? On the edge of their picnic mats, cheering every delicate tap and scrape.

Fitness Showdowns: Friendly Competition with a Physical Twist

This segment brought out the hidden athletes (and comedians) within the team. It was more than just exercise—it was team motivation in motion.

Planks: Colleagues faced off to see who could hold the plank position the longest. Some dropped out early with dramatic flops, others held strong while teammates clapped, chanted, and made them laugh (yes, on purpose!).

Pushups: Not a fitness challenge until someone gets competitive! With others counting loudly and cheering them on, participants pushed past their comfort zones, with plenty of high-fives and “I didn’t know you had that in you!” reactions.

The Newspaper Dance-Off: Where Balance Meets Boogie

A game that turned a simple piece of newspaper into a shrinking island of survival—and a hilarious dancing battlefield.

The rules? Dance while the music plays, and when it stops, both teammates must fit onto a single newspaper sheet without stepping off. 

With every round, the newspaper folded in half, making balance trickier, moves funnier, and poses more creative.

Legs tangled, arms flailed, laughter exploded. Some chose strategy, some chose silly—but only one team remained standing on their crumpled paper square. A true crowd favorite!

Balloon Ramp Walks: High Fashion Meets High Absurdity

Imagine a runway. Now add hats made of newspaper, balloons strapped to your arms, and a crowd waiting to judge your walk. Welcome to the Balloon Ramp Walk—a fashion show with flair and chaos.

Participants strutted their stuff down the “catwalk” with makeshift balloon accessories, some doing twirls, others dramatic poses.

Bonus points were awarded for confidence, creativity, and comedy. One participant even posed like a superhero— a hat made of newsprint and a cape fluttering in the wind.

The judges? Everyone. The applause meter decided the winners, and spoiler: everyone was a winner for making people laugh that hard.

Hula Hoop Relay: Nostalgia, Coordination & Lots of Laughter

A childhood classic got a team-building twist. The Hula Hoop Relay challenged teams to pass a hula hoop down a human chain—without letting go of each other’s hands.

The hoop had to move from one end to the other, over heads, under legs, through laughs and wobbles.

Some fell, some got tangled, but all pushed through with grit and giggles.

The goal? Team coordination, fast movement, and most importantly, not collapsing from laughter in the middle of the chain.

As the sun softened and energy mellowed, the team gathered for evening tea and snacks, reflecting on the laughter, the wins, the goofy dance-offs, and candid moments caught on camera.

Champagne bottles popped, phones buzzed with Instagram stories, and memories were replayed over laughter and quiet conversations. A day of simple joys, shared triumphs, and renewed team spirit.
